Factory support driver Ralph Burch Jr qualified 4th on the grid for the finals of the IFMAR 1/10th Nitro Touring car championships. In the first turn Ralph was hit and put him in the last postition. Ralph quickly put his head down and went to work.
Ralph slowly moved up in the feild and by the 10 minute mark was in the lead position. Quick pit stops by his mechanic Drew Ellis help him keep the lead and then some. The quick tire change at the 30 minute mark helped keep the lead which lead to Ralph winning by one lap over second place.
This win signifies Ralph’s 1st World Championship title to add to his impressive 34 National titles and is KO PROPO’s 30th IFMAR World Championship title. Great race Ralph!
Ralph’s Tx is custom built by KO PROPO Japan and is the only left handed EX-10 Eurus in the world. Ralph used KO’s D.D.S. 2.4GHz along with the PDS-2367 servo for the steering and PDS-2368 for the throttle. Congrats to Ralph and his pit man Drew for a race well done.
